The Philadelphia Phillies have announced their 2015 Promotional Schedule, which includes the typical fun times, giveaways and celebrations.

The giveaways actually get started at Spring Training in Clearwater. On Saturday, March 7th, fittingly against the Toronto Blue Jays, the Phils will give the first 6,000 fans Roy Halladay bobbleheads. Two weeks later on March 21st, it’s Alumni Day, and then on April 2nd the team will help celebrate the City of Clearwater Centennial.

Here the 14 and under set will receive a Phillies Bat Back. The month ends with the hilarity of the Phillie Phanatic Birthday on Sunday, April 26th, with kids receiving Phanatic baseball socks.

May events are highlighted by the Mother’s Day celebration on Sunday, May 10th vs the New York Mets when the team will give all women 15+ a Ladies Wristlet. The month will end on Sunday, May 31st vs the Rockies with a Bucket Hat giveaway for the kids 14 and under.

On Tuesday, June 2nd vs the Cincinnati Reds the club will give away a Vintage bobblehead. Later in the month, on Sunday, June 21st, it’s Father’s Day being celebrated with a 1960’s-era Phillies cap given to all men 15 and over.

The annual Independence Day fireworks displays will take place on Wednesday, July 1st and on Thursday, July 2nd, both against the Milwaukee Brewers. At the end of the month, on Friday, July 31st it will be the kickoff of Alumni weekend with ‘Wall of Fame’ Night.

There are currently no giveaway or promotional events scheduled for September, but the team will end the regular season with Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday, October 4th. So there will be October baseball at Citizens Bank Park in 2015, one way or another.

Sprinkled throughout the schedule are the always popular Dollar Dog days and nights sponsored by Hatfield Franks currently scheduled for April 9th and 21st, May 16th, and June 3rd, all of which are 7:05pm game times.

Ethnic celebrations will take place on Saturday April 11th (Asian-Pacific), Tuesday May 12th (Jewish), Friday May 15th (Irish), Friday June 5th (African-American), Friday July 17th (Italian), and Friday August 28th (Latino), as well as the usual Spring Training fun on St. Patrick’s Day with a March 17th home game vs the Rays.
