Preview

The Philadelphia Phillies are hoping to keep the momentum going tonight, following last night’s impressive 9-0 victory.

Cole Hamels comes into this game with a 1-2 record and a 4.30 ERA. The left-hander pitched seven innings in his previous outing and allowed three runs on six hits. Hamels had gotten off to a shaky start this season, so he’s hoping to settle into a groove.

Jorge De La Rosa will take the mound tonight for the Colorado Rockies. The 33-year old has been phenomenal of late, having won five straight games for the ball club.

Ryan Howard will get the night off, following his 3-for-4 game last night. Darin Ruf will be hitting cleanup tonight in place of Howard. Ben Revere, who is starting to heat up, will hit lead-off once again, while Cesar Hernandez is hitting eighth in place of the injured Cody Asche.
