After a brief road trip to Miami for a series against the Marlins, the Los Angeles Dodgers are next team on the Philadelphia Phillies schedule for a three-game series at Citizen Bank Park. It’ll be the third time in the last four series an NL East team will be on the Dodger schedule. Los Angeles has struggled to get past third place in the NL West for most of the season, never managing to get more than a couple games over .500. The Phillies are currently tied at the bottom of the division after dropping the last two games against the Marlins. Phillies tickets are averaging $62.69 for the series, 26 percent below the season average, despite two big promotions for the weekend series.

5/23 LAD Clayton Kershaw vs. PHI Roberto Hernandez | Avg. Price: $53.95 | Get-in Price: $21

The first game of the series has a free Markus Schulz concert after the game. The dance music DJ is on tour promoting his new album, “Scream 2,” and is playing at the outfield entertainment area and plaza for no additional cost. While the concert has helped make the game have the most expensive get-in price at $21, the average price is easily the cheapest of the weekend at $53.95. Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw is coming off his worst outing of the season, giving up seven runs to the Arizona Diamondbacks in less than two innings, but that performance seems to be attributed to bad luck more than anything, with Kershaw sporting an elite 1.54 FIP despite his 4.43 ERA, and a very unlucky BABIP of .419.

5/24 LAD Dan Haren vs. PHI David Buchanan | Avg. Price: $60.15 | Get-in Price: $15

With Cliff Lee missing the start, and Jonathan Pettibone suffering a small labrum tear, David Buchanan will get his first major league start. The righty was left unprotected in the Rule 5 draft, but after going unselected posted a 3.98 ERA in triple-A. He’s only expected to be a spot starter, and that’s one of the reasons this game has the lowest get-in price of the series at $15. The other is that it’s the only game this weekend that doesn’t feature an extra promotion. While the average price is up to $60.15, that probably has more to do with fan’s interest in going to a Saturday afternoon game, over a Friday night one.

5/25 LAD Josh Beckett vs. PHI A.J. Burnett | Avg. Price: $73.96 | Get-in Price: $20

ESPN’s Jayson Stark will be at the Phillies game Sunday, signing copies of his new book, “Wild Pitches,” and talking baseball. The Sunday matinee is the most expensive game of the series with an average price of $73.96. The get-in price of $20 is just a tick behind Friday night’s game with the Markus Schulz concert. A.J. Burnett takes the mound for the Phillies, and he’s coming off three poor outings. He’s walked 11 batters in his last 16 innings, and has a BB% of 11.6, the highest number he’s posted in any season he’s pitched at least ten starts since 2000.
