In recent years, the Phillies’ system has not been well-regarded by most pundits. Keith Law ranked the Phillies’ minor league system as 27th best in 2013, while Baseball America listed had them at 24. Those rankings are expected to improve somewhat in 2014, as the consensus is that the Phillies have more promising prospects than they did a year ago.
