Domonic Brown Continues Homering Despite Concussion Rehab

Dom went on a rehab bombing run through South Jersey last night, going 3-for-5 in his start with the Lakewood BlueClaws.

One of his hits was a #dombomb.  You might call it… a concussion missile?

Or you might not, if you had sex in high school.  The point is, Dom Brown.  He had chances to use different facets of his game to showcase the full scope of his health (running out an infield single), and will continue his smorgasbord of the minor leagues tonight with the Reading Fightins.

The Phillies, meanwhile, are horrible, but did manage to win last night; meaning no, they did not play, which is the equivalent of a win these days.  They’re something like 1-10 since Dom left the lineup, and probably won’t get too entirely better with him in it, but at least we’ll see some 8-3 losses instead of 8-1 losses.  Thanks, Dom.

Dom will be a part of the most watchable portions of Phillies baseball over these last 51 games. As a young power hitter, he will, along with Cody Asche, Darin Ruf, and a few hurlers, be auditioning for larger roles next season, as the team *hopefully* revamps in a helpful direction.

At the moment, the Phillies still need to figure out where they want to play him.

I couldn’t get the video of his home run from last night, so here is Dom hitting six other home runs.
