I just want to point out that I wasn't just being a yahoo/prick with my tweet (in this instance, at least). I lived in Philly for about 8 years (2002-2010) and barely anybody gave a hoot about the Phils prior to "seven games up with seven to play." You can tell me all you want how Phillies fans are loyal, but CBP was rarely, if ever, more than half full until they started running the division. I'm not saying there were no Phillies fans prior to them winning, but I've witnessed fans come out of the wordwork once they won the World Series. One of my college buddies -- a self-proclaimed die-hard Phillies fan -- didn't know what position Mike Schmidt played.

You can say what you want about Yankee fans, but evacuate your glass abode before hurling pebbles.
