Cliff Lee and Ryan Madson Combine to Shut Out Rangers/Help Humanity Avoid Rapture

Lee was great tonight, tossing eight innings of shut-out ball and striking out then en route to a 2-0 victory. Colby Lewis lined a pitch off of Lee’s neck in an obvious attempt to knock him from the game. Lee smiled coyly, as he is want to do and continued to dominate the Rangers.

Halladay, Homers Lead Phils to 3-2 Win

After Roy left the game, the Phillies turned to Ryan Madson to keep the score 3-2. Madson continued to impress earning his eighth consecutive save, while making professional baseball players look silly as they flail helplessly in a vain attempt to make contact.
