Yesterday’s shooting in Arizona claimed the life of nine-year-old Christina Taylor-Green, the granddaughter of renowned Phillie-employee-for-life Dallas Green.
Based on the description, she was, at nine-years-old, already more intelligent, eloquent, and successful than most of the adults I know. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Green family in the wake of this awful tragedy, as well as the families of all the victims.
Justin is a tall gentleman whose baseball playing career came to a close after he realized he was too cool for baseball anyway. He discovered writing about the sport was far less humiliating than playing it as no one would have to ask him why he "runs like that."
