A recurring theme on this site is how the ridiculousness of Phillies fans is what makes us distinct and awesome, though of course at times there's the really bad shit that's just indefensible. I AM one--this is a Phillies blog, after all--so anything insulting to fans is insulting to me as well. In fact, reading back over this post, I see its like 80% compliments. So "Let's" try not to scare up an issue where there really isn't one. Ooooh, a post about how passionate Phillies fans are! What a fresh angle.

If you want to read articles with exactly your own opinion, you could go start your own Phillies blog and read it out loud to yourself.

Maybe instead of ripping the phillies fans, because it just so easy to fill space and draw some extra attention to your story, you could have brought up how pationate they are after having their 120th straight sellout, in a playoff like atmosphere. Philadelpia has become a city and team where players want to play and just like Oswalt fit in. We are b pationate and knowledgable fans who attend games, I don't see why that is a bad thing. Let's leave the unnecessary criticism of Philadelphia out of articles and talk about the team, the game, the amazing job by the brass.
Go Phills
