Olney said something intriguing the other night (not quite a first, but certainly not frequent) comparing the Phils to the Yankees ca. 2000-2001 as a team that had trouble motivating themselves in the regular season but had such veteran leadership and experience that they could be counted on to turn it on when it counted. The Phillies do seem to have done that this year, turning on the sun just at its darkest moment. At this point it feels like they're looking at either a three-game sweep or a run back to the WS.
