The Mets have a terrible 2-9 road trip and fall out of contention. Might be a blessing, so Omar Minaya doesn't sell the farm to save his hide. When the Mets miss the playoffs he'll be gone, and so will Jerry Manuel. Even as a Mets fan, I have to say, the Phillies step up and make the big moves when they have to (i.e. Oswalt 2010, Lee 2009) Wow, all pretty much sum up the feeling of Mets fans.
