Hell, I thought it was pretty damned good, Justin! Whether you're pissed at not getting the internship, the Phils continuing to play less than stellar baseball, or a combination of both, the bottom line is that you're PASSIONATE.

All too many Philadelphia fans (not just Phillies) treat people, and sometimes themselves, as if it's not ok to be honest, or passionate in a negative manner when assessing our teams. You get referred to as "not a real fan", or a "bandwagoner." Being a Phillies fan, for some, doesn't permit honesty, emotion, or passion. It means you have to drink the Amaro flavored Kool-Aid, genuflect to "The Phantom Phive" for 2008, and believe that being a 2nd half team means they will win the division after the All Star Break EVERY year. Kudos to you for doing none of the above, and for calling it as you see it.

As currently constituted, this team simply isn't good. They're not the same team as two years ago. The division has improved, while the Phils have stagnated. They're two years older collectively, and in some cases, individually, age is showing. Despite what Ruin Tomorrow Jr., I mean Ruben Amaro Jr. is trying to sell, this is not a great baseball team, and I'm not buying.
