"Also, dirt on uniform is not a stat."
Hahahaha. YES IT IS. Damn it. Honestly, though you are on Cano's side, I'm just honored Steve Jobs is reading this site at all.

wow, typical mainstream phillies fans (generalizations about things they do not understand/only watch their team play)

Utley in 2009
156 G, 571 AB, 112 R, 161 H, 31 HR, 93 RBI, .282 BA

Cano in 2009
161 G, 637 AB, 103 R, 204 H, 25 HR, 85 RBI, .320 BA

Cano is 4 years younger, is more durable, still improving, plays for the best offensive team in baseball, and has led the league, at any position, in balls fielded since he entered MLB (approaching 3,000). Also, dirt on uniform is not a stat, unless you play for boston. And oh yeah, Cano batted 8th for most games last year; he now bats 5th.
He may not be the better player, but Cano probably wins this competition barring injury.

I'm a fan of this blog, but sometimes people just don't make any sense.
