Now the Phillies motivation to go out and get another reliever has hit the wall! Carpenter can go for several innings, but like I said in my earlier article today, Walker is inconsistent at best, and I would not trust Carpenter just yet!
Both Durbin and Romero are right handed pitchers, so maybe they go out and get two right handed relievers and a left handed guy, or a righty and a lefty, and call-up Sergio Escalona or keep Walker.
